Changes at BRIZ in relation to Covid-19

COVID-19 or SARS-Cov-2 is a new strain of the virus that was first detected in China at the end of 2019 and it continued to spread rapidly around the world. COVID-19 reached Latvia; first case was recorded on March 2nd. On March 12th, the Latvian government declared an Emergency Situation.
During this time, the main goals for the company are the safety of employees and the provision of services with no disruption.
Due to COVID-19 BRIZ implemented few measures in order to ensure all essential systems are functioning and employees are protected. BRIZ intensified disinfection measures as early as February. On the day of the declaration of the Emergency Situation, gathering restrictions required BRIZ to activate the developed crisis management plan, that  included changes in work organization, working remotely from home offices for certain departments, modification of company workflows and intensified disinfection measures, personal protective equipment was provided, transportation for employees were organized, all business travel was restricted or rescheduled. BRIZ considers work reorganization effective.
BRIZ urges people to be responsible for themselves and for the safety of others, within all established limitations and restrictions, so that together they can control the virus.
